My goal is to fill this blog with 60 days of nutritarian meal plans because I want to make getting healthy and achieving health excellence as easy as possible for all of us!

Now you have an easy answer for that ever-annoying question: What are we going to have for dinner?

Welcome to Day 46 with lots of beautiful, healthy and fresh foods for you to feast your eyes on (and hopefully nosh on, in the very near future)!

Eat to Live Program Daily Menus Dr Fuhrman Nutritarian diet plan

EAT TO LIVE BREAKFAST:

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • Apple Nachos: This is a NEW RECIPE and you’re going to love it!  You’ll need 1/2 large apple (I used Fiji) chopped, 1 tbsp. raw almond butter, 2 tbsp. almond unsweetened milk, and your choice of toppings (I used pomegranate seeds, 1 tbsp. raisins, a sprinkle of chia seeds and 1 tbsp. chopped walnuts).  Mix the raw almond butter and almond milk with a fork, until a smooth, sauce-like consistency.  Drizzle over apples and top with your favorites!  This was so surprisingly filling–it kept me going till the late afternoon!

EAT TO LIVE LUNCH:

  • large mixed baby greens salad with sliced cucumber, chopped red cabbage, 1/2 yellow plum (chopped), a sprinkle of raw almond slices and dressed with balsamic vinegar.
  • I cup brown rice topped with white beans and chopped spinach: Add 1 cup low-sodium veggie broth to a saucepan, add 1 cup white beans (drained and rinsed well, I used canned), cook over medium-high heat for 5 minutes, add 11 1/2 cups frozen chopped spinach and cook for another 5 minutes.  Sprinkle with a dash of nutmeg and serve with a dash of Cayenne pepper.

EAT TO LIVE DINNER:

NOTES ON DAY 46:

This menu almost perfectly meets Dr. Fuhrman’s Aggressive Weight Loss Plan.

To tighten it up just a bit, especially if you’re looking to lose weight (if your BMI is over 23), simply skip some of the nuts.  Omit either the sprinkling of raw walnuts on the apple nachos or forgo the sliced almonds on your lunch salad.

If you’re already at your ideal weight (BMI under 23) this menu will be great for you as is!

I am just starting the 6 week plan. I need to lose 140 pounds that I have gained after years on steroids to control lupus. I also have fibromyalgia that causes constant pain. I am hoping this plan will also help these issues. My question is do all of your daily menus adhere to the 6 week plan? Thank you so much for the info in this blog. I can tell it will be my constant companion.

      Hi! Welcome to MMTM!!

Yay!! I’m so excited to help you on your health journey!!

Great question! YES! The daily menu plans adhere to the Eat to Live plan! That being said, some days I had more whole grains than others–those are on my workout days. An example of a whole-grain-heavy day would be Day 47.

This day (Day 46) is a pitch-perfect day for eating on the 6 week Eat to Live program where you are only allowed 1 cup of whole grains (like brown rice, potatoes or corn).

I suggest reading my 6 week Eat to live journal first, then move on to the first 42 days of Eat to Live daily plans, starting here!

I have heard lots of success stories for people curing all kinds of autoimmune illnesses on the ETL plan–I wish you the absolute best! Please remember I am here for you at any time, just send me an email through the “contact” tab!

Do you ever post your calories? I am just curious how many calories are in the apple nachos??

          Hi Karli!

Sorry, I don’t post calories or even calculate them–that’s a big part of being nutritarian! But I know there are some amazing calculators online you could easily plug the ingredients in to get a count!

After doing just 6 weeks of this diet I have lost weight , down two pant sizes and no longer taking my allergy medications. Allergies seem to have just vanished ! My husband has lost 22 lbs ! Even greater news is that he is now off his blood pressure medications and he no longer snores !!! Also he just went to his doctor and his PSA level that has been elevated and watched every six months for the last 6 years , is now down to normal range !!! I told the doctor “its the diet that he is on “…… doctor says ” what ever it is that he’s doing , keep it up ” !
