      Hi Pat! I’m so excited for you! Yes, the serving size is for one salad, I think there is one salad recipe that will make more and you will see that under “notes.” If you have any questions along the way, leave another comment and please let me know how it goes!!!

    What an incredible gift you are along with your wealth of knowledge. I I have been reading The End to Dieting while being slowed by bronchitis.
    I have been eating salads, oatmeal, and lentil soups. The weight is already falling off. I had been soooo discouraged but now I have you, tools and a wealth of information.

    Hi, I can’t eat onions because they hurt my stomach and I don’t like mushrooms. Any suggestions of what I can do.

      Hi Pat!

      Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear about onions! How does onion powder fair for you? Does it make a difference if the onions are cooked versus raw?

      As far as mushrooms are concerned, I would really recommend that you start sneaking them into foods that you do like–because they have such tremendous fat-fighting power! You can read more about them here! A good way to start out with mushrooms is to chop them up really small, almost like a mince cut and add them into lentil bean stew. Don’t give up on trying to get mushrooms into your diet!

      So, if I were you I would really try to focus on green veggies to get your loads of phytonutrient power! Kale, chard, spinach and broccoli need to be really prominent in your diet! That’s going to help you lose weight and protect your health!

      Try doing kale smoothies in the morning, and check out this recipe.

    I would also like to have a printer friendly version of the content that would not consume so much colored ink.

      Yay! So happy you are enjoying the eBook!

      So, when you go to print out the book you can go under your printer settings and select black and white ink only–I’ve seen a few readers do that! You can also easily print it out in color at Office Depot (or similar) and the price for color printing is pretty cheap now!

    The Salad Cleanse looks stunning, and I will work these into my new regime. Thank you SO much for making this easier. I found your website yesterday off of Dr. Fuhrman’s 10 in 20 and it is already making a big difference.

    Quick question – when you speak to 2-3 cups of greens as a salad portion goal, does this mean packed or loose cups?

      Yay! I’m so glad you liked the eBook (I have another one in the works about weekly ETL food prep–so stay tuned)!

      As far as greens go, it’s really up to you! I try to pack in as much lettuce as I can, so push yourself to your limit–those are the healthiest foods on earth for us!

    1/1/17 After finding Dr. Fuhrman and reading Eat To Live and Ending Diabetes ,my main squeeze (12yrs) and I decided, if we did not want to leave this mortal coil soon we had best follow the Good Dr.’s advice and become Nutritarians. I’m 70 with Sarcoma and he’s 65 with DM and CVD (diabetic with heart disease).We’ve agreed to start 1/18/17. I prayed for help and found you Dear Kristen. I’m the adventurous one so I prepped for the 7 Day Salad Cleanse.A good learning process for whats to come ( I’m looking forward to you new Prep book as I need it badly to get organized before the 18th ) I’m on Day 4 when I should be on Day 6 ,but life hit and I did not eat as I should .But I start each day with a prayer,the deternination to do better,a smile and I Keep on Truckin’ ! In all my chaos,you and your site have become the voice of reason.Your colors are calming,,your text informative and you make me feel good about myself. Thank you.     What would be the difference in the 2 programs as I imagine I’d lose about the same with this which is also his info?

      Yes, that was an error on the book–I’ll be doing a revision soon.

      All you have to do is add 1/4 to 1/2 Hass avocado on top of the salad! Hope you love the cleanse!!
